Welcome to Cool Season Comfort Time (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services and website (coolseasonllc.com). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Services
Cool Season Comfort Time provides professional HVAC services, including but not limited to:
- Mini-split installation
- Central A/C replacement
- HVAC troubleshooting and service
- Electrical hookups for HVAC systems
- Maintenance agreements
All services are provided based on the client’s request and are subject to a mutually agreed-upon estimate or contract.
2. Permit Responsibility
Cool Season Comfort Time does not pull any permits or handle government documentation for HVAC installation or replacement. All services are performed under the homeowner’s or general contractor’s permit, when required by city or county regulations.
We will provide EPA 608 certified documentation and manufacturer certification as needed to register your equipment for manufacturer warranty purposes. However, it is the client’s responsibility to verify local permitting requirements and obtain the necessary permits before installation.
3. Equipment Warranty & Registration
We work only with trusted brands and provide systems with up to 10-year manufacturer warranties, depending on the equipment. To activate this warranty:
- We will register your equipment on your behalf using our EPA-Certified HVAC license.
- Clients must ensure systems are properly maintained per manufacturer guidelines.
- Labor warranty is provided by us for a period of 1 year from the date of installation unless otherwise specified.
4. Service Limitations
- We do not guarantee services related to existing faulty electrical systems, ductwork, or prior installations unless specifically included in the scope of the estimate.
- Additional labor or materials required due to hidden damage, unforeseen conditions, or client changes will result in additional charges.
- Prices and availability of equipment may vary based on supply chain conditions.
5. Payments & Deposits
- A down payment is required to schedule and purchase equipment.
- Final balance is due upon job completion, unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payments may result in additional charges or delays.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
Cool Season Comfort Time is not responsible for any code violations, fines, or penalties resulting from the lack of permits.
We are also not liable for:
- Delays due to weather, supplier shortages, or customer scheduling conflicts.
- Pre-existing conditions in HVAC or electrical systems.
- Property damage due to structural instability or hidden conditions during installation.
7. Client Cooperation
We ask all clients to:
- Provide clear access to work areas
- Ensure all pets and children are kept clear of work zones
- Be available or have a representative on-site to approve placement and final walk-through when needed.
8. Photos & Marketing
By accepting our services, you grant us permission to take before and after photos for quality assurance, warranty documentation, and marketing purposes. No personal information or identifiable images will be shared without your permission.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Deposit refunds will be handled case-by-case, depending on whether materials or equipment have already been ordered.
